Lunch at Big Spring Refinery

It is noon Friday, May 21, 2004.  High above the Big Spring Refinery, located 3 miles east of Big Spring, Texas, Old Glory is a welcome sight as celebrants gather for lunch.
A southwesterly breeze causes the Fina balloon before the tent to bow its welcome as the crowd begins to gather.
The line forms to the rear, and it is getting to be a formidable line already.

It is getting closer to chow-time.  The governor's arrival is announced, and a cameraman is going for a good picture.  The crowd mills and  visits.  Jeff Morris, CEO of Alon, USA (chin on hand) confers with David Weissman, Chairman of the Board.

Everyone is fed in short order.  It is quite a tent, and quite a crowd.
The crowd was slightly larger than the tent.
