Museum
We have added some new exhibits at the Museum.
We are updating the site. More is coming. |
The doctor’s exhibit was made possible through
donations made by the Sander’s family. Ann Sanders donated an entire
hospital room of furniture that was used in the Medical Arts
hospital. This exhibit covers just a few of the local physicians in
Big Spring including Doctors Nell and Virgil Sanders, Dr. G. T. Hall,
Dr. M. H. Bennett, Dr. Louise Bennett Worthy, Dr. Clyde Thomas, Dr.
G. S. True, and Dr. J. H. Hurt.

| Murray and Diane Murphy donated a 1925 Ford Model T two-door coupe
roadster. The car was owned by Murray’s mother and step father Arnie
and Mildred Carlson. The model T is on display in the Refinery Area. |

It’s a jungle out there- or rather- in here
The museum is proud to announce that the new children’s exhibit is
complete. The jungle room has a tree house where kids can walk onto
and practice their frozen shadows.
